This luxurious fabric combines the finest silk with the mesmerizing 'Aurora foil thread(オーロラ箔糸).'

The Aurora foil thread is crafted by applying a special reflective material to Japanese paper, then finely cutting it into 0.3mm strips by skilled artisans. This unique thread reflects light in different angles, creating a magical array of colors and brilliance.

Adding to the allure, the Nishijin weave in Collection 4 is dyed using the prestigious 'Yūzen dyeing(友禅染-ゆうぜんぞめ)' technique, typically reserved for the highest-quality kimonos.
Kawabata Co., Ltd. has named this luxurious blend of Nishijin-ori and Yūzen dyeing "Enmusubi(connection of destinies)," symbolizing the union of Nishijin weave and Yūzen dyeing.

Will the MacBook sleeve fit my iPad?

The MacBook sleeve is compatible with the following models:

  • 11.9 inch iPad with Smart Keyboard Folio
  • 11.9 inch iPad with Magic Keyboard
  • 12.9 inch iPad with Smart Keyboard Folio

However, it is not compatible with the 12.9-inch iPad with Magic Keyboard.
How thick is the sleeve? Is any shock-absorbing material like urethane used?

The sleeve uses thick Nishijin weave fabric on both the outer and inner layers, with approximately 3mm of urethane in between for shock absorption. While the thickness is comparable to that of a typical leather MacBook sleeve, we prioritized a design that minimizes bulk to maintain the MacBook's original slimness. Consequently, it does not offer the same level of shock protection as sleeves with thicker urethane.
Does the MacBook Sleeve have an interior pocket?

It does not have an interior pocket.
